Nigerian military personnel have apprehended a suspected bandit identified as Sule Yellow, who allegedly used the TikTok account @suleyellow6 to publicize the activities of terrorist groups.

Reports circulating on X on Monday indicated that the suspect was arrested shortly after he allegedly received ransom money from the relatives of a kidnapping victim.

Prior to his arrest, Sule Yellow was said to be active on TikTok, where he frequently shared videos highlighting bandit operations. On March 4, he reportedly featured in a livestream with another suspected bandit known as Auta and several others.

Security sources disclosed that operatives had been monitoring his online activities for some time before carrying out the arrest.

Following the operation, authorities also deactivated the TikTok account associated with him. Reports further stated that the suspect was taken into custody after allegedly collecting ransom from a victim’s family, while his social media account was subsequently shut down by security agencies.
