Missing Army general: Police declares Jos district Head, others wanted

The Plateau State Police Command has declared the District Head of Dura Du Village in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State and seven others wanted in connection with the missing Major General Idris Alkali (rtd).

According to a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the command, Tyopev Mathias, the suspects were declared wanted following preliminary investigations indicating that they masterminded the abduction, assault and caused the disappearance of the retired army officer.

Alkali was a former chief of administration at the army headquarters.
