Lagos, Nigeria – The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has addressed concerns regarding the autopsy of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, reassuring the public that the procedure was conducted without any foul play.
In a statement posted on his official social media page on Monday evening, SP Hundeyin emphasized that the autopsy was promptly conducted by leading forensic pathologists in the country, and family members were present during the process to ensure transparency.
“While we await the results, we urge everyone to remain calm and confident in the process. There is absolutely no underhanded dealing, as feared by some concerned individuals. In the meantime, other aspects of the investigation are progressing well,” the statement read.
Last week, the police had announced the completion of the autopsy for the late singer, but concerns were raised regarding the transparency and legitimacy of the process. SP Hundeyin’s statement aims to allay these fears and reassure the public of a thorough and credible investigation into the tragic event.
