Mohbad’s father insists on a DNA test for his grandson

Mr. Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has requested a DNA test to determine the paternity of his grandson.

Recent discussions have emerged among Nigerians regarding the necessity of a DNA test for Liam, the son of the late singer, to establish his biological parentage. While some argue that conducting such a test is crucial in light of allegations of infidelity against Mohbad’s wife, others contend that it is an insensitive demand to make concerning the five-month-old child.

In a recent interview with BBC Pidgin, Mohbad’s father emphasized the global significance of conducting a DNA test on his grandson, stating, “This issue has gained widespread attention, not only in Nigeria. Therefore, the appropriate steps should be taken at the right time.”
