MohBad’s mother abandoned him for 15 years – Lere Olayinka

Lere Olayinka, former media aide to Ayodele Fayose, the ex-governor of Ekiti State, has come forward on social media to condemn the actions of the mother of the late music sensation Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as MohBad.

Olayinka revealed that MohBad’s mother had forsaken her children for an astonishing 15 years, only resurfacing after the tragic passing of the ‘Peace’ crooner on Tuesday, September 12.

Expressing his dismay, Olayinka stated, “A woman abandoned her two children, MOHBAD and his sister, leaving them in the care of another individual and never returned for over 15 years.”

He continued, “Today, this very woman is residing in a well-appointed apartment within a prominent estate in Lekki, Lagos, all thanks to the child she abandoned for a decade and a half!”

Adding to the tragedy, Olayinka revealed, “Meanwhile, the daughter she left behind, along with MOHBAD, had to learn tailoring and has yet to establish her own shop. She continues her tailoring work within her father’s home.”

Olayinka concluded with a poignant reflection, “And now, this very woman receives condolences for a child who suffered partly because the very mother who should have guided him and supported him abandoned him for a staggering 15 years. God watches over all.”

MohBad, the talented artist, tragically passed away at the young age of 27 on Tuesday.
