Mohbad’s widow reveals conditions given by father-in-law for DNA test

Mohbad’s widow, Omowunmi, has accused her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, of being responsible for the delay in conducting a DNA test for her son, Liam.

IDOMA VOICE reports that Joseph Aloba has repeatedly insisted on a DNA test in various interviews to confirm Liam’s paternity. However, Omowunmi claims that despite her lawyer informing him of their readiness to proceed, he has continued to stall the process.

In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwu, Omowunmi alleged that Mohbad’s father is well aware that Liam is his grandson but is using the DNA controversy to his advantage due to the attention and goodwill he receives from fans of the late singer.

She further stated that once the DNA test is completed, the focus will shift to Liam, potentially reducing the support and benefits Joseph Aloba currently enjoys. According to her, several devoted fans of Mohbad have shown interest in the child’s paternity before offering any form of assistance.

Omowunmi also revealed that Joseph Aloba set two conditions before agreeing to the DNA test: the results must not be disclosed to the public, and she must not take legal action against him afterward.
