Money intercepted in Ghana-Must-Go belongs to Benue APC guber candidate, Emmanuel Jime – EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commisison, EFCC, has confirmed that the money intercepted inside Ghana-Must-Go in North Bank, Makurdi belong the the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Emmanuel Jime.
The agency confirmed this via a terse statement posted on its Facebook page on Saturday.
It wrote “At the North Bank Area, Makurdi, a man was caught with large bags containing lots of money. While trying to arrest him, officers of the Commission  were attacked and vehicles vandalised.
“Information gathered confirms that the money “allegedly belongs” to Emmanuel Jimeh, the gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Benue State.”
