Moses Simon makes Nantes player of the month award

Moses Simon has been nominated for the Nantes player of the month award for August after coming up with some stellar performances which yielded two goals and two assists.

Simon was so good during August that he hit the back of the net twice while also making two assists in four Ligue 1 appearances in the colours of Nantes.

With his great numbers in the French top-flight as the 2022/23 season is only six weeks gone, the Nigerian ace has been nominated for the Nantes player of the month award.

Meanwhile, Nantes manager, Antoine Kombouare earlier this week confirmed that Simon will be out of competitive football action for the next two weeks due to an injury.

Simon scored and made an assist as Nantes came from behind to beat newly-promoted Toulouse 3-1 in their Fench top-flight game at the Stade de la Beaujoire last Sunday.

He made way for Lohann Doucet in the 80th minute. He is, however, ruled out of competitive football action for the next two weeks after he suffered muscle discomfort.
