Motor conductor who graduated from university reveals plans to go back to his former job

A motor park conductor, Taiwo Godwin Makanjuola popularly known as ‘Person’ has defied the odds to become a graduate from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Kaduna State.

Taiwo who was born and raised in Akwanga, Nasarawa State sponsored himself through school with his daily earnings from the work commonly regarded as dirty and indecent work meant for thugs.

He was deployed to Bayelsa State for his compulsory one-year National Youth Service and Thursday, October 21st was his POP after meritorious service.

According to Nasarawa Mirror, Taiwo said he’s returning to his former job to make earns meet pending when he gets a better job.

“People view motor park work as dirty and indecent work, but I see it differently. It was from the work that I was able to sponsor myself through school and today, I am a graduate of Social Studies (B.Education).

“I don’t want to be a burden to anyone, not even to my parents. I am going back to the work that made me a graduate today pending when I get another one. I don’t want to stay idle,” he said.

Taiwo who abhors idleness however credit his success to God Almighty, noting that without Him nothing would have been made possible.

He advised Nigerian youths against idleness, stressing that an idle hand is a devil’s workshop.

“Don’t judge a book by it cover. Be thankful, be grateful and be sincere in anything and everything you are doing,” he added.
