A family in Kanuni, Igembe South is in shock after their kin believed to have drowned two weeks ago returned home alive on the day of his ‘burial’.
Osca Mithika, 23, returned home on Thursday as his family members were making the final plans to ‘bury him’.
The residents who had turned out for his burial were forced to ran away to safety in fear that he must have returned as a spirit from the dead.
His mother noted that they were in total disbelief since they had mourned the late fur sometime and could not imagine he would come back safely.
When asked, Mithika said that he did not know why there were a large group of people at their home and still was unaware of the reasons why they were running away from him.
The mother disclosed that she did not know where her son has ran away to since he had just disappeared after wrangles with his elder brother over personal family issues.
She had to have a lot of courage to accept the son back despite having had ran away from him earlier on.
