Mummy Zee: Lady insulted for waking up 4:am to cook for husband gets N2m from Nigerians

Nigerians on Twitter have rallied behind Debbie Abisola, known as #_Debbie_OA, after she faced criticism for revealing her early morning routine of preparing meals for her husband.

The controversy erupted when Debbie shared on social media that she started waking up at 4:50 am daily to cook for her husband, prompted by his revelation that a colleague had shared a meal with him.

The tweet sparked a wave of criticism, with some questioning the necessity of such a gesture and others expressing concerns about potential infidelity.

Despite the backlash, a group of generous netizens decided to show their support for Debbie by contributing over N2 million to celebrate her dedication to her marriage.

Screenshots of Debbie’s account balance were shared along with her emotional response, expressing gratitude for the unexpected financial assistance.

In addition to the monetary support, an angelic gesture also came her way, as she revealed being recommended for a Virtual Assistant role with a monthly remuneration of 50,000 Naira.

Overwhelmed by the kindness she received, Debbie expressed her deep appreciation, acknowledging the prayers, reposts, and well-wishes from those who contributed.
