Renowned singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has emphasized that his musical journey is driven by more than just financial gain.

The 21-year-old artist pointed out that he was financially stable even during his early days of freestyling and social media postings, which ultimately led to his discovery by a record label.

During an interview with Korty EO, Rema expressed that even if he hadn’t achieved success in the music industry, he would still be actively pursuing opportunities to earn a living.

The “Calm Down” performer elaborated, saying, “If music didn’t pan out for me, I would still be out there hustling, you know? Even during the time when I was doing freestyles, it wasn’t because I desperately needed money. I was already financially secure. I was doing it because I was genuinely passionate about it.”
