A Nigerian clergyman, Evangelist Victor Edet, has described the American Recording Academy Award otherwise known as “Grammy” as “devilish”.

This is coming after two of the country’s music greats, Wizkid and Burna Boy won Grammys on Sunday, and Nigerians took to the social media to celebrate them.

According to the Evangelist who made this disclosure on social media app, Twitter, on Monday, musicians sold their souls to the devil who he claimed is the owner and controller of the music industry, just to win Grammy which he described as a “vain award”.

He accused “worldly singers” of sacrificing their mother, father, friends and innocent souls because of awards and fame.

He added that any Christian who congratulate anyone who wins Grammy, should be prepared to go to hell.

In his words:
“Grammy awards is of the devil, alot of people have sold their souls to Satan, just to win that vain award.

Satan owns and control the music industry. Alot of worldly singers have sacrificed their mother, friends, fathers, and innocent souls because of awards and fame. Do you know how many innocent lives these musicians have sacrificed to Satan? Do you know the Dirty things they practice off social Media?

If you are a Christian and you celebrate anyone who wins those awards, get ready to Miss Heaven.”
