Muslim-Muslim ticket: No cause for alarm, I’ll be fair to you – Tinubu tells Christians

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives
Congress, Bola Tinubu, has assured Christians in the country that there is no cause for alarm over his choice of deputy.
IDOMA VOICE recalls that Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje had last week said Tinubu would pick a Muslim as his running mate.

It is observed that the North is hugely populated by Muslims, thereby making the choice of a Christian politically incorrect.

Following the development, many Christians have faulted Tinubu for accepting to run same faith ticket, considering the fact that the nation is highly polarised along religious lines.

Many Christains have vowed not to vote for Muslim-Muslim ticket.

“What if he opts for Muslim-Christian ticket in the end? Why don’t you wait for him (Tinubu) to announce his plans,” Tinubu’s media aide, Tunde Rahman, told Sunday Vanguard last night.

Rahman added: “He (principal) is a God-fearing man and a detribalised Nigerian. He will be fair to all. There is no cause for alarm”.
