1. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, presented an estimate of N41,120,071,521.75 (Forty One Billion, One Hundred and Twenty Million, Seventy One Thousand, Five Hundred and Twenty One Naira, Seventy Five Kobo) as its budget for the year 2023 to the House of Representatives Committee on Financial Crimes.

2. The All Progressives Congress, APC, has denied that the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, was attacked in Maiduguru, Bornu State, on Wednesday.

3. Nigerian singer Rema took his stagecraft to a new level while performing on day two of his concert at O2 Brixton Academy in London. The ‘Calm Down’ crooner pranked his audience by faking a medical emergency while performing.

4. Meta CEO Marck Zuckerberg has confirmed that the company will be laying off 11,000 workers, representing 13% of its workforce. 

5. The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Tuesday arrived in Benue State for his campaign. Obi and his team landed in Makurdi, the Benue State capital in a customized private jet with ‘Obidient’ inscription boldly written on it.

6. Chijioke Edeoga has been sacked by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja as the governorship candidate of the Labour Party for Enugu State in the 2023 general election.

7. Governors Nyesom Wike of Rivers, Samuel Ortom of Benue, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu States are currently in the Bauchi State.

8. The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Abubakar Atiku’s convoy was attacked in Borno, Maiduguri by unknown thugs on Tuesday. It was gathered that Atiku and his team were attacked the moment they landed in Maiduguri for campaign.

9. The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has opened up on the leaked certified judgment documents released by the Chicago, US court, where he was indicted of drug dealings and money laundering in 1993.

10. The founder of SS Peter and Paul, Idoma Catholic Community, worldwide, Brother Edward Okaka is dead. Brother Okaka died in the early hours of Wednesday, November 9th after a brief illness.
