1. Egba community in Agatu local government area of Benue state, at the early hours of Monday 7th November 2022 woke to sporadic shootings and pursuit by suspected operatives of the Nigerian Army. According to reliable sources from the community, the soldiers raided the community at about 6:00 am and took possession till about 11:00 am before they left.

2. Several people were feared dead when gunmen clashed with soldiers from the 34 Artillery Brigade, Obinze at Izombe in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.

3. The Director General of the Obi-Datti Campaign Organisation, Doyin Okupe, has declared that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi will no longer attend any debate if his counterparts in other parties do not attend.

4. Governors Nyesom Wike, Okezie Ikpeazu, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Seyi Makinde have commissioned some projects executed by the administration of Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State. The four Governors, who are of the influential group of PDP G-5 inaugurated the various projects on Monday, November 7th, 2022 at separate locations in Makurdi the state capital.

5. Marauding Fulani herdsmen have launched unprovoked attacks on Ukohol community in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State killing 20 persons among them, children and a security personnel. The dastardly attack left several persons injured while hundreds of those displaced were seen fleeing on foot to the neighbouring town of Daudu with the few belongings on their heads.

6. A group of Abuja-based pastors and bishops, have expressed their support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC. This was made known in a statement jointly signed on Sunday by Apostle Babatunde Oguntimehin, and Revd Friday Obi, national president and secretary, respectively.

7. IDOMA VOICE reports that the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has revealed how his doggedness made way for Adams Oshiomole, Kayode Fayemi and Rauf Aregbesola to become governors of their respective states.

8. The Vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ifeanyi Okowa was booed by participants at Sunday evening’s Town Hall meeting series organised for candidates running for the presidency. The event was put together by the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) in collaboration with ARISE Television.

9. The All Progressives Congress (APC) has revealed why its candidate in the February 2023 presidential poll, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, did not attend the debate organised on Sunday 6th November by ARISE TV.

10. The presidential candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Kola Abiola, has decried the ineffectiveness of the security agencies in the fight against insecurity in the country.
