1. Rivers State governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has presented the 2023 Appropriation Bill to the State House of Assembly for consideration. The governor, who christened the 2023 appropriation bill, ‘Budget of Consolidation and Continuity’ said it comprises capital and recurrent expenditure of N550, 666,987,238.00 for the fiscal year 2023.

2. Osun State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has told the Election Petition Tribunal that the state office of the commission was not in custody of the certificates of Senator Ademola Adeleke. The electoral officer made this declaration on Tuesday at the resumed hearing of the petition filed by Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and the All Progressives Congress (APC) against the declaration of Ademola Adeleke of the PDP as Governor-elect.

3. Manchester United have reached an agreement with Cristiano Ronaldo to mutually terminate his contract. The Athletic reported last week that United had started a legal process against Ronaldo for breach of contract after his interview with Piers Morgan.

4. Two police officers of the Borno State Command, Nigeria Police Force, identified as Godiya and PC Kubra lost their lives while 17 others sustained various degrees of injuries in an auto crash. It was gathered that the accident occurred along Jos axis, Plateau State on Monday while the police officers were on their way to Akwa Ibom State for the upcoming 13th Biennial Police Games, UYO 2022.

.5. President Muhammadu Buhari has flagged off the Kolmani Integrated Development Project (KIPRO) situated in the boundary of Bauchi and Gombe states. The KIPRO is an oil prospecting lease (OPL) 809 and 810 at the Kolmani field site located in the Gongola Basin of the Upper Benue Trough.

6. The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele on Tuesday said President Muhammadu Buhari will unveil newly designed N1,000, N500 and N200 on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

7. A Federal High Court, Abuja, on Tuesday, ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to immediately resume continuous voter registration until 90 days before the 2023 general elections. Justice Inyang Ekwo, in the judgment, also directed INEC to ensure that eligible Nigerians were not deprived the opportunity to have their voter’s card for the forthcoming poll.

8. The New Nigeria Peoples Party’s presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has given his reason Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, cannot win the next election. According to him, any party that can’t control Lagos, Kano, and Rivers states should forget about the 2023 presidential election.

9. The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Monday in Lagos State, has vowed not to fail those who have been supporting him. Obi said that he would rather die than fail his supporters, who are commonly known as Obidients.

10. Lionel Messi said Argentina’s shock loss to Saudi Arabia was a “very heavy blow” but vowed the South American champions would bounce back from the defeat. “It’s a very heavy blow, a defeat that hurts, but we must continue to have confidence in ourselves,” Messi said after Argentina crashed to a stunning 2-1 loss in Group C.
