1. The leaders of the three main ethnic groups in Benue state on the platform of the Mzough U Tiv, MUT, Ochetoha K’Idoma, OKI, and Omi Ny’Igede, have commended the renewed efforts of the Federal Government to halt the activities of terrorists and bandits in the country. The leaders urged the government to take a step further by tagging Miyetti Allah groups as terrorist organisations and ensuring the arrest of their leaders who have been making provocative statements on the Benue killings.

2. One of two brothers who allegedly serve as major sources of illicit drug supplies in South East and South-South parts of the country, Onyeaghalachi Stephen Nwagwugwu, has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA after nine years of being on his trail. The elder brother, Eze Kaleb Stephen, who is also wanted, narrowly escaped during the overnight operation carried out simultaneously in their two locations: Umuahia and Ntigha Okpuola communities in Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Abia state.

3. The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) on Tuesday launched the Crowdfund App to mobilise funds for its Presidential Candidate, Sen. Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Sen, Kashim Shettima. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the app will afford Nigerians the opportunity to pull financial resources to support Tinubu and Shettima to prosecute campaign activities ahead of the 2023 general elections.

4. Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, Tuesday announced that he would soon inform people of the state of the presidential candidate to vote in the 2023 general election. He said when the decision is made, Rivers electorate, who have enjoyed good governance under his watch and are already desirous to reciprocate the gesture, would be told which presidential candidate to vote for.

.5. FG has made NIN Compulsory for CAC Business Registration in Nigeria. IDOMA VOICE reports that the federal government has disclosed that without the National Identification Number (NIN ), Nigerians would no longer be able to register businesses.

6. Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Senator Representing Benue South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Sen. Comrade Abba Patrick Moro has said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has come to rescue Nigeria. Sen. Moro made the declaration at the JS Tarka Stadium Gboko, Benue State on Tuesday, 29h November 2023 during the Benue PDP North-West Senatorial flag-off.

7. Gov. Ademola Adeleke of Osun, on Tuesday, ordered the immediate dissolution of all non-statutory boards in the state. Adeleke’s Spokesperson, Malam Olawale Rasheed, said in a statement, that the directive was conveyed to Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies by Mr Teslim Igbalaye, the Secretary to the State Government.

8. Former Minister of Steel Development, Paul Unongo, is dead. IDOMA VOICE gathered that Unongo died at the age of 87. The elder statesman celebrated his 87th birthday in September.

9. A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Tuesday November 29, 2022 sentenced the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, to three months in prison for disobeying a valid court order. The presiding judge, Mobolaji Olajuwon, issued the ruling on Tuesday following a suit filed by a former police officer, Patrick Okoli, who claimed he was unlawfully and compulsorily retired from the Nigerian police force.

10. The All Progressives Congress Campaign Council, on Tuesday morning, denied apologising to Donald Duke, over the use of his photograph in a documentary on the party’s presidential flagbearer, Bola Tinubu. The viral apology, which hit the online portals and social media platforms on Monday evening, sparked reactions, with some critics accusing the APC candidate of admitting to fraud.
