The burial ceremony unfolded subsequent to a poignant funeral service held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Isiokpo, situated in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Dignitaries in attendance included Governors Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), and Douye Diri (Bayelsa), as well as notable figures such as Aliko Dangote, the Founder and Chairman of Dangote Group, Chibuike Amaechi, the former Minister of Transportation, Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, and Bukola Saraki, the former Senate President.
