1. Dr. Pedro Obaseki, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Director of Research and Documentation for the party’s Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), has called for disciplinary action against former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.

   Obaseki accuses Wike of being a serial betrayer, alleging that he led a group of five governors who engaged in various anti-party activities during the February 25 presidential election.

2. The Senate has commenced the scrutiny of Dr. Olayemi Cardoso for the role of Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
