Chicago State University, also known as CSU, has made public the educational records of President Bola Tinubu to Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have collaboratively called off the planned indefinite strike scheduled for October 3, 2023, following the fuel subsidy removal.
This decision came after a crucial emergency meeting between government representatives and labor leaders. Both NLC and TUC mutually agreed to suspend the strike to allow for the implementation of NLC’s demands.

The Ondo State House of Assembly has directed the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Olusegun Odusola, to immediately set up a seven-man panel to investigate the deputy governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on the allegations levelled against him.
The Assembly Speaker, Olamide Oladiji, who made this known during the plenary session on Tuesday, said Aiyedatiwa had failed to respond to the letter of notice served on him on September 25 over allegations of gross misconduct.
Oladiji said the house resolution that the deputy governor should be duly served a notice of the allegations, was in line with Section 188 of the Nigerian Constitution.
