The Naira experienced an appreciation on Friday at the official market, with a trading rate of N1,666.72 per dollar.
According to data from the FMDQ Exchange, which manages the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM), the Naira strengthened by N8.77, marking a 0.52% increase from Thursday’s rate of N1,675.49 per dollar.
However, the total daily turnover decreased to $94.20 million, down from $166.61 million recorded the previous day.
