Naka-Makurdi road not safe – Man raises alarm as gunmen open fire on traveler

A good Nigerian has alerted travelers to avoid plying the Makurdi-Naka-Ankpa road stressing that the road is now a safe heaven for bandits.

The man who raised the alarm in a video which has since gone viral on social media, advised travelers to use the Otukpo-Aliede route which he said is more safer.

This is coming after a young man was reportedly shot along Makurdi-Naka road on Thursday.

“A friend was shot shot on his way from Otukpo to Makurdi yesterday, along Naka road,” a source told IDOMA VOICE correspondent.

Efforts by our reporter to get a police comment on the matter proved abortive as the spokesperson of the Benue State Police Command was unreachable.
