The Nigerian Agricultural Mechanization & Equipments Leasing Company (NAMEL) has received a delegation of tractor manufacturer, John Deere in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
NAMEL made the disclosure through it’s official Instagram account with the caption “The year started on a great note for us, we were pleased to receive the team from John Deere international led by Jason Brantley.
“It was a great time to discuss on how to strengthen #AgriculturalMechanization as well as boost food production in Nigeria. #Agriculture #Mechanization #foodproduction #landclearing #AgricultureInNigeria #Agrofinance #AgroMachinary.” They added.
Recall that NAMEL who signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) to inject no fewer than 10, 000 units of tractors into the Nigerian Agricultural sector also signed a contract (MoA) with John Deere to facilitate the easy deployment and disbursement of the machineries.
