Names of the 20 Cross Rivers lawmakers sacked by Court for defecting to APC (Full list)

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has sacked 18 members of the Cross River State House of Assembly and 2 members of the House of Representatives on Monday.

The court sacked the Imo lawmakers who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a judgement delivered by Justice Taiwo Taiwo stated that the lawmakers must vacate their seats after abandoning the party that brought them to power.

The PDP had filed a suit challenging their defection as marked in suit FHC/ABJ/CS/975/2021.

The court also sacked 2 members of the House of Representatives from the state making the total of sacked lawmakers to 20.

16. Hillary Ekpang Bisong
