National Honours: Och’Idoma thanks Buhari, congratulates Ayatse, Ujah, others

Agaba-Idu HRM Elaigwu Odogbo Obagaji John, Och’Idoma V has thanked His Excellency, President Mohammadu Buhari for recognizing and conferring national honors on deserving Nigerians, especially Benue sons led by HRM Prof. James Ayatse, Tor Tiv V.

The Agaba-Idu congratulated the Chairman Benue state Council of chiefs and the President of the Tiv Area Traditional Council on the conferment of the National Merit Award of Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CRF), describing it as deserving and worthy.

Agaba-Idu further congratulates his eminent sons who are also recipients of National merits awards in different categories. The Paramount Ruler of the Idoma Kingdom described them as shining lights of the Idoma nation thus they would be celebrated the world over.

The recipients include
1. Dr. Samuel Ankeli,
2. Arc. Sunday Echono,
3. Prof Innocent A. Ujah
4. Alh Musa Audu,
5. Chief Sylvanus Ameh,
6. Innocent Idibia and
7. Dr. Chris Obute.

The royal father went further to say that “this is a call to higher service and trust their various capacities to live and to deliver accordingly”.
