NCC suspends sales and activation of new SIM cards in Nigeria

The Nigerian Communication Commission has suspended the sales and activation of new SIM cards in the country.

NCC said this would allow them audit the SIM registration database.

This was made known in a statement by A.I Sholanke, Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
