The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has uncovered a clandestine operation involving illicit drugs concealed within tins of tomato paste. The revelation was made by Femi Babafemi, the Director of Media and Advocacy at NDLEA, in a Facebook post on Sunday.
Babafemi, who shared both videos and images depicting the discovery, commented, “Narco-trend update: This is yet another reason why we tell you some human minds are so flagitious, as this video shows the moment #ndlea_nigeria officers discovered tins of tomato paste used to conceal illicit drugs. Shine your eyes 👀 and be careful with what you pick up from people.”
This discovery underscores the ongoing efforts of NDLEA to combat drug trafficking and highlights the need for vigilance when handling seemingly innocuous items.
