A Netherlands based firm, Humanitarian Environment Project Company, HEPC is to invest 400 million euros in developing of the agriculture value chain in Benue State.
Speaking after the agreement, Mr. Anbua expressed delight that the operations of the company were in line with the vision of the Government to develop the state through investment in agriculture.
He said the commitment of the Government in the MOU is to provide the land which has already been approved, saying that the people will benefit immensely when the project takes off.
Also commenting, Professor Dennis Ityavyar assured the company that government would give it maximum cooperation including provision of security to enable it do business in the state without hitches.
The Chief of Staff, Hon. Terwase Orbunde, Commissioner for Works, Transport and Energy, Emmanuel Manger, Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Stephen Amase also witnessed the signing of the MOU.
