New Och’Idoma: We have accepted Pastor Elaigwu as our king – Idoma youths tell critics

Sequel to the solemn and general thanksgiving and praise moment held in Otukpo the headquarters of Idoma nation yesterday Sunday 2nd January,2022 by all Idoma youths in appreciation to God for unanimous, equitable and victorious emergence of an AGATU born pastor ELAIGWU ODOGBO JOHN as the God ordained and Idoma given brand new king elect.

The sole sponsor of the event, IDOMA NATIONAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FORUM-INYDF. The only true Idoma youth organisation that inclusively speaks, works and represent the entire Idoma Youths both home and in diaspora without any political nor partisan inclination, affiliation nor influence, had in the event yesterday unanimously accepted the emergence of pastor ELAIGWU ODOGBO JOHN as the newly Och’Idoma elect.

This unanimous acceptability by all Idoma youths was reeled out to the press by the national leader of the forum Mr. NGBEDE OFOINE ADOKA-OLE.

Mr. NGBEDE OFOINE ADOKA-OLE stated that, the whole activities surrounding the selection of pastor ELAIGWU ODOGBO JOHN as the new Och’Idoma were appropriate, in order with the Idoma traditional council and the Benue chieftaincy law as enacted thereby, solidifying and making noble, fair, transparent and true as to the manner and how a paramount ruler in the new Benue State chieftaincy law is to be selected which did not in any way contravene due diligence as well, due process.

It is on this pertinent note that, IDOMA NATIONAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FORUM-INYDF via it’s national Leader asserted that, Idoma nation is not a trivial nor petty people and will not allow any Idoma infiltrator or infiltrating organisation or group to malign the Idoma kingdom for any selfish, greedy and political gains whatsoever at a time like this.

It is in view of this that, the general Idoma youths under the umbrella of IDOMA NATIONAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FORUM-INYDF, want to let every Idoma both home and in diaspora know that, we have no other group as a voice for Idoma nation nor a decider for Idoma nation therefore, solemnly declear that, any organisation, association or group of persons any where issuing statement of rejection or disapproval of the newly Och’Idoma elect, are not Idoma and does not belong to Idoma nation. Rejecting them and dissociate Idoma nation from them. They are intruders, infiltrators, saboteurs and enemies of the new, better and greater Idoma Nation in process.

Mr. NGBEDE OFOINE ADOKA-OLE hereby calls for the arrest and interrogation of any of these infiltrating, intruding and sabourtaging organisation, association and group of persons trying to malign the great repute of Idoma nation so as not to allow for any of Idoma enemy to desecrate the Idoma kingdom and disintegrate us being the most peaceful and hospitable people in the sub Saharan Africa.

Mr NGBEDE hereby call on every Idoma sons and daughters both home and abroad to remain calm, focused and resolute praying and trusting God the more, get united to see what God by His mercy have arose to do for Idoma nation going forward. As He God is now set to restore the original and natural glory of Idoma nation as a people that fears and trust in Him.

The forum hereby use this opportunity to heartily thank the Benue State government and the Idoma traditional council for their steadfastness and commitment to this noble history made for the glory of God and the good of Idoma kingdom.
