New Zealand Visa Application for Lithuanian Citizens
If you’re a Lithuanian citizen planning to visit New Zealand for a short stay of up to 90 days, you are eligible for the New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA). Since 2019, New Zealand has waived the need for a visa for short visits for citizens of 190 recognized countries, including Lithuania. This means you can enter New Zealand for tourist, business, or transit purposes without applying for a visa at an embassy. The NZeTA is valid for two years, and you can make multiple trips during this period as long as your passport remains valid.
To apply for the NZeTA, follow these simple steps:
Gather the required documents:
Pay the processing fee (International Visitor Tourism and Conservation Fee – IVL) to receive your approved NZeTA via email.
Apply online and make sure to have all the necessary original documents ready to avoid errors.
Please note that if you plan to travel to New Zealand for longer stays, work, or study, you will require a different type of visa. In such cases, it is advisable to contact the nearest New Zealand embassy or consulate for further information and assistance.
