While ecstasy filtered in the air over the credit Alert of N30,000 being recieved by many beneficiaries, some exited beneficiaries of batch A and B Npower Programme have mistaken the payment to an alleged NEXIT Loan Training Allowance.

To quell confusion, there is/was no training allowance for the exited Npower beneficiaries who recently concluded their NEXIT Loan Training across the States of the Federation. However, there were Item 7 served to the beneficiaries during the NEXIT Loan Training.

The N30,000 currently being paid to the beneficiaries is the payment for RRR – COVID-19 Rapid Response Register Cash Transfer initiated and coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development to identify and document the poor who have lost their income streams and consequently become poorer from the harsh economic impact of COVID-19 Pandemic.

The Credit Alerts being received by the beneficiaries bears the description NASSCO which means the National Social Safety-Net Coordinating Office domiciled under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

The N30,000 Credit Alert is the payment for 6 Months which is counted as N5,000 per month and serves as the overall payment to the particular Batch of the beneficiaries under the COVID-19 conditional cash transfer RRR programme.

Other batches may emerge as the Ministry strengthens its relief approach to the economic downturn necessitated by the COVID-19 Pandemic through the Social Safety Net Programme, and other programmes.

The enrolment was done using unique USSD Codes designated for each State and remarked as *969*community code#. The enrolment codes were widely circulated across social media and received huge interest from many intending participants in the programme.

If you have received the N30,000 Credit Alert, congratulations. If you successfully enrolled in the programme but haven’t received your payment, kindly increase the volume of your Alert ringtone and expect your payment.
