The General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mohammed Sanusi, has announced that the first 500 fans to purchase tickets for Tuesday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Nigeria and Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo will receive a Super Eagles home jersey.
Sanusi urged Nigerians to turn out in large numbers to support the national team, stressing the importance of fan presence.
“We are calling on Nigerians to come out in full force to support the Super Eagles on Tuesday. The team needs your backing,” he said.
“When we faced Rwanda in Kigali on Friday, the Amahoro Stadium was filled to capacity with home supporters. We want our own fans to do the same—come out in large numbers and cheer the Eagles to victory.
“We also encourage fans to wear Nigerian colours. Let’s fill the stadium with green and white, and bring drums and energy to lift the team.”
The NFF also confirmed that tickets will be available for purchase on match day, with VIP tickets priced at N3,000 and regular seats available for N1,000.
