The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) is set to welcome its newly constituted board as the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) gears up for the official inauguration on Tuesday.
Last week, the NFF announced the members of the new board, who will be entrusted with overseeing the affairs of the NPFL for a two-year term.
Leading the board will be Gbenga Elegbeleye, a respected figure in Nigerian football, who will take on the crucial role of heading the NPFL board.
Joining him on the board are esteemed members such as Mallam Mohammed Nasiru Sa’idu, Barrister Poubeni Ogun, Daniel Amokachi, Dr. Okey Kpalukwu, Mallam Suleiman Umar, and Mr. Iorfa Dominic. Each member brings valuable expertise and experience to contribute to the growth and development of the league.
To ensure smooth operations, Barrister Danlami Ibrahim will serve as the secretary of the NPFL board, while Prince Davidson Owumi will take on the responsibilities of the Chief Operating Officer.
