Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala shows off dance steps at son’s wedding in Germany (Video)

A video has emerged, showcasing the Director-General of the World Trade Organization, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, exhibiting her dance skills at the wedding ceremony of her eldest son, Dr. Uzo Iweala.

Dr. Iweala tied the knot with his partner, Lotte Elsa, in Heidelberg, Germany, on a Sunday.

In the video, Okonjo-Iweala can be seen joyfully dancing to a variety of Nigerian music alongside her new daughter-in-law.

Njide Udochi, the groom’s aunt, shared clips from the event on her Facebook page on the same Sunday.

She shared her thoughts, saying, “As Nigerians and Ndigbo, a wedding is incomplete without us celebrating our traditional marriage rites, the Igba Nkwu Nwanyi. So, in Heidelberg, Germany, we celebrated this union.

“It truly takes a village, and Uzo and Lotte were surrounded by their village to honor and celebrate their special day. Another beautiful day of #celebratinglove, #HonoringTraditions, and #celebratingcommunity.

“We are immensely thankful for all our extended family and friends who traveled from all corners of the world to celebrate our family and our traditions today.

“Hearty congratulations to the entire Iweala family and Ndi Umuda Isingwu. Congratulations also to the Goos family in Heidelberg, Germany.

“To our newlyweds, Uzodinma Iweala and Lotte Elsa, may your journey together be f

illed with enduring happiness. We love you both!”
