Though the statement did not disclose the names of the individuals involved, a video posted on Facebook by a user named “Victoria Wang” has gained considerable attention, featuring WP MP for Aljunied Group Representation Constituency, Mr. Leon Perera, and Ms. Nicole Seah, head of the party’s youth wing. In the video, the two are seen holding hands and engaging in conversation while seated at a table with candles and wine.

While the video continues to be widely shared, the WP has committed to releasing a statement once they gather all the relevant information and expects each member to be held accountable for their actions. As of now, no official confirmation of the participants’ identities has been provided.

Nicole Seah, who is part of the controversy, married Bryan, an engineer from Singapore residing in Australia, in August 2015. They welcomed their first daughter in 2018 and had a second daughter in 2022, bringing her immense joy and pride as a mother.

In the past, Nicole Seah faced false accusations when a newspaper and news portal wrongly suggested she was dating a married man, Steven Goh, the creator of the social network mig33. Seah responded by threatening to sue them and eventually parted ways with Goh due to the strain the situation placed on their relationship.
