Niger Coup: Pastor Paul Enenche Warns Against War in Nigeria [VIDEO]

Dr Paul Enenche, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center (DIGC), has warned against the possibility of war in Nigeria and across the African continent.

In a video shared on his official Twitter account, the renowned clergyman addressed the pressing issue of potential conflict, stressing that the current challenges facing Nigeria and other nations are already burdensome enough.

Pastor Enenche’s message came in response to the recent coup in Niger Republic, a situation that has heightened concerns and sparked discussions of military intervention by regional bodies. The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) had considered intervening to reinstate democratic governance in Niger following the seizure of power by a junta in July.

Addressing the situation, Pastor Enenche led his congregation in a special prayer for Africa, fervently expressing his belief that the continent does not need war. He highlighted the detrimental effects of conflict, particularly in regions already grappling with terrorism, poverty, and shortages.

“We reject war on the continent,” Pastor Enenche asserted resolutely. “The people are already suffering enough. Terrorism is enough, the poverty and shortages are enough. War cannot join… People are already facing all manner of pains; war cannot be part of our problems right now.”
