Renowned Nollywood actress Funke Akindele and singer Mr. Eazi have taken to social media to celebrate Nigeria on its 64th Independence Day.
The stars shared uplifting messages on Tuesday, October 1st, amidst the economic challenges facing the country.
In an Instagram post, Funke Akindele expressed her hopes for Nigeria, stating, “I pray that this country will be great! Yes, we keep saying it will be great. It will be great because this is where I earn a living, where I’m called ‘gbogbo bigs girl,’ and where I make the money to afford all the designer bags and clothes. This is also where I empower many people. For me, I will not japa; I will remain in Nigeria. Nigeria go better.
