Nigeria is the best country – Oshoala reacts to Super Falcons win against Australia

Asisat Oshoala, the talented forward of the Super Falcons, expressed her immense pride in representing Nigeria, describing it as “the best country in the world.” After the Super Falcons secured a thrilling 3-2 victory against World Cup co-hosts, Australia, Oshoala shared her sentiments during a post-match interview.

The 28-year-old superstar, known for her dedication to the national team, emphasized her commitment to giving her very best whenever she dons the revered Nigerian jersey. Her passion and enthusiasm were evident as she took the field, coming off the bench to make history as the first African player to score at three different editions of the tournament.

Oshoala’s remarkable journey in the World Cup began in 2015, when she scored her first goal for Nigeria in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Sweden. She continued her goal-scoring prowess at the 2019 World Cup in France, where she netted her second goal in the 2-0 victory over South Korea.
