Nigeria vs Benin Republic: Again, Finidi drops Boniface from Super Eagles starting XI

Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George, has made three changes to his starting lineup for tonight’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Benin Republic.

Chippa United’s Stanley Nwabali retains his spot in goal following his impressive performance in last Friday’s 1-1 draw with South Africa.

The defense remains unchanged with Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi, Benjamin Tanimu, and Calvin Bassey.

In midfield, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru makes way for Brentford’s Frank Onyeka. Captain Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi will maintain their positions.

OGC Nice star Terem Moffi will lead the attack, while Paul Onuachu will start on the bench. Samuel Chukwueze is preferred over Kelechi Iheanacho, with Ademola Lookman also in the starting lineup.
