Former Super Eagles captain, Kanu Nwankwo, has called on soccer fans in the country to rally round the Super Eagles as they take on their Ghanian counterparts in the first leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff tonight in Kumasi.
The second leg comes up in Abuja in a few weeks time.
Speaking ahead of the crucial encounter, Kanu hopes that the Super Eagles are ready to beat Ghana.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle on Thursday, Kanu wrote:
“Good training and our boys are ready and know we need to win.
“KAN U Believe it, come on is time to support our Super Eagles to victory Nigeria vs Ghana.”
