NIgeria vs Guinea-Bissau: Idoma-born Simon Moses named Man of the Match

Moses Simon has been named the Man of the Match in Nigeria’s 1-0 triumph against Guinea-Bissau.

The Nantes winger, making his first start of the competition, played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s victory.

Simon’s cross found its way into the net, marking Nigeria’s sole goal of the game just nine minutes before the conclusion of the first half.

The 28-year-old was later substituted by Ademola Lookman in the late stages of the match.

The Super Eagles secured the second spot in Group A, amassing six points from two games.
