Nigeria will benefit more for donating N1.14bn to Niger Republic – Adamu Garba

Former presidential aspirant and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Adamu Garba, has said the donation of N1.14bn to Niger Republic for the acquisition of security vehicles was a nice gesture that should be applauded.

According to him, Nigerians should applaud President Muhammadu Buhari for the show of love to neighbouring country instead of calling for his head.

He said Nigeria would benefit from the gesture in the long run.

He tweeted, “Some Nigerians don’t know the meaning of war by other means and diplomatic lobbying.

“The N1.14Bn vehicle purchase for Niger Republic could have been one of the good strategies to get their govt to support our security efforts from the borders, in addition to AKK & rail lines.”
