Nigerian Defence Academy announces successful candidates for 76 Regular Combatant Course

The Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB) Interview for the 76 Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) was conducted from June 22 to August 3, 2024.

The names of successful candidates are listed below and can also be accessed on the NDA official website: www.nda.edu.ng.

Successful candidates are required to report to NDA Ribadu Campus (old site), Kaduna on Saturday, August 24, 2024. It is important to note that upon admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy, cadets will be full-time students and will not be considered employees of the Academy or the Federal Government of Nigeria. They will not have any employment rights or engagements should they be dismissed or withdraw before commissioning as officers. Candidates who do not report by Monday, August 26, 2024, will forfeit their place.

Only selected candidates should report to the Academy and will be received upon arrival at the Drill Shed, NDA Old Site Ribadu Cantonment. Candidates on the reserve list may be contacted as needed via their registered email addresses and phone numbers.

Selected candidates MUST bring the ORIGINAL copies of the following credentials:

  • First School Leaving Certificate
  • Primary School Testimonial
  • NECO/WAEC School Certificate Results
  • Senior Secondary School Testimonials
  • Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
  • Letter of State of Origin

Failure to present the originals of these documents will result in non-acceptance into the Academy.

Additionally, successful candidates are required to bring the following items:

  • Two pairs of black and white trousers
  • One dark-colored lounge suit
  • One pair of national dress
  • Two black belts
  • One pair of black cover shoes
  • Two pairs of white canvas shoes
  • Two pairs of white shorts
  • Pyjamas
  • Two pairs of brown canvas shoes
  • One pair of football boots
  • Hockey stick
  • Electronic tablet (Tab)
  • Personal computer
  • Pressing iron
  • One pair of black low heel cover shoes
  • Four dark-colored lounge skirts (for female candidates)
  • Four pairs of black or blue short tights (for female candidates)
  • Two pairs of trouser suits (for female candidates)
  • Four pairs of white socks
  • One black rubber-strapped digital quartz wristwatch
  • Black polish, brushes, shaving kit, and toiletries
  • Two white bed sheets and pillowcases for an 8-spring bed
  • Black swimming trunks/shirts
  • Two white shirts (long sleeves) (for female candidates)

Selected candidates are required to upload their O-Level results to JAMB before reporting to the Academy. Visitors are not allowed, and candidates must remain on the Academy premises for the first three months of training. Compliance with these instructions is mandatory.
