The Flying Eagles star, Adewale Oladoye, made his debut for KAA Gent in a 2-0 win over Standard Liege in their Jupiler League playoffs match.
The victory which was made possible through goals from Yonas Malede and Roman Yaremchuk in the seventh and 94 minute has brightened Gent’s hope for Europa league qualification.
Oladoye, a key member of Coach Ladan Bosso-led Flying Eagles got the nod in the second half of the jupiler league match and did not disappoint as the former Water FC of Abuja combative midfielder made instant impression when with his interception of a pass led to the second goal of the match.
The Nigerian youth international looked hungry for success in his first competitive debut after he was on the bench in the last game.
Recall that the duo of Adewale Oladoye and Emeka Chinoso signed the dotted lines from Water FC to Gent recently. Nigeria internationals like Moses Simon, Samuel Kalu, Peter Olayinka, Rabiu Ibrahim have at one time or the other played for Gent FC .
