Nigerian international, David Okereke, has tested positive to coronavirus, Club Brugge reveals on Tuesday.
“Attacker David Okereke took a positive Corona test this (Tuesday) morning.
“The attacker was immediately quarantined and will be retested next week,” a statement on the Belgian club’s website said.
The 23-year-old, now join Paul Onuachu of Genk and Samuel Kalu of Ligue 1 club Bordeaux as
high-profile Nigeria players to test positive for COVID-19.
Okereke, will therefore miss Sunday’s Belgian Pro League matchday 6 fixture against Zulte-Waregem at the Regenboogstadion.
