The National Universities Commission (NUC) has unveiled a list of 58 illicit universities operating within Nigeria. The Executive Secretary of NUC has officially released this critical information through a public notice prominently featured on the commission’s website.
Of particular concern are institutions claiming affiliation with foreign universities. The NUC’s published list includes the names of these dubious establishments, serving as a stern warning to the public.
Notably, three schools in Benue State have been identified as fake and illegal.
