Ghanaian-Nigerian actress Yvonne Okoro has revealed that she prefers Nigerian men to their Ghanaian counterparts, citing their generosity and romantic nature as key factors in her preference.
In a recent appearance on the Ghanaian TV show Showbiz 360 with fellow actor Majid Michel, Okoro shared her thoughts on relationships, explaining that while she values financial generosity, love and affection are equally important to her.
She said, “Nigerian men or Ghanaian men? Nigerian men are better. I didn’t say Nigerian men just because of money. Money is important, but love and affection are key. If they give me money without love and are disrespectful, I wouldn’t want that.”
Okoro emphasized that her ideal man is one who offers “the whole package” – a combination of romance, generosity, and respect.
Born in Tamale, Ghana, to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother, Okoro has made a name for herself in both Nollywood and Ghollywood films.
