FULANI EVICTION: SUNDAY IGBOHO FINALLY SPEAKS: After a long silence, renowned Yoruba activist, and chmapioner of the Oodua Republic agitiation, Sunday Igboho has insisted that Fulani herdsmen must leave Yoruba land. Igboho, in a series on tweets on saundy, said his struggle was not politically motivated but for the freedom of Yoruba nation from the killer Fulani herdsmen.

 

  1. EX-MINISTER, ABDULLAHI IBRAHIM DIES OF HEART-RELATED DISEASE. The death has been announced of Abdullahi Ibrahim, a former Chairman of Body of Benchers and erstwhile Minister of Education, Science and Technology. Report says the Senior Advocate of Nigeria who served as the Attorney Federal of the Federal (SAN) died on Sunday due to heart complications.

 

  1. 50 SANS BACK SUNDAY IGBOHO: No fewer than 50 Senior Advocate of Nigeria have been lined up to defend Sunday Adeyemo, otherwise known as Sunday Igboho over his recent call on Fulani to leave Oyo community. The Conference of Yoruba lawyers, who made this known on Sunday night, asked President Muhammadu uhari to go after his criminal Fulani terrorists and not Sunday Igboho, the liberator of his people.

 

  1. ADEKUNLE AJASIN UNIVERSITY SHUT DOWN: The Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, AAUA, has been shut down indefinitely. This follow the crisis that broke out in the area following the death of some students in an accident caused by Dangote truck. Opeoluwa Akinfemiwa, Acting Registrar of the institution, in a circular, asked students of the institutions to leave the school premises by 6:00 pm on Sunday.

 

  1. ABDUCTORS MURDER TARABA LG CHAIR: Salihu Dovo, Chairman of Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State has been killed by his abductors. Recall that Sovo was kidnapped in the early hours of Sunday, 24th January 2021 by the criminals who invaded his residence in the Sabon Gari area of Jalingo, the State capital.

KIDNAPER INVADE ORPHANAGE HOME, ABDUCT ORPHANS, OTHERS: Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have invaded Rachael’s Orphanage Home opposite UBE Junior Secondary School in Naharati, Abaji Area Council, Abuja. They left with seven orphans, including a security guard of the home in the area.
