Nigerian Police Academy now accepting applications for 2023 Admission

The Nigerian Police Academy is currently open for applications, and interested candidates are encouraged to follow the guidelines provided below. Applicants will undergo a five-year program at the Kano State-based police academy, receiving both military and academic education. Successful candidates will obtain a bachelor’s degree and become federal employees of the Nigeria Police.

Application forms have been available for pickup since April 2021, and the deadline for sales is yet to be determined.

POLAC Admission Form Requirements for 2023

To be eligible for the 2023 academic year at the Nigeria Police Academy, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Age: Applicants’ age range must be between 17 and 22, as evidenced by their birth certificates and verified by a government hospital.

  2. Height: Minimum height requirement for women is 1.62 meters (5 feet 4 inches), and for men, it is 1.67 meters (5 feet 6 inches).

  3. Chest Measurement: Male applicants must have a chest measurement of at least 86 cm, and for those between 21 and 22 years old, a chest width of 34 inches.

  4. Physical and Mental Health: Applicants must not have any physical or mental impairments that hinder them from fulfilling their job duties.

  5. Educational Qualifications: Applicants must possess SSCE, NECO, and GCE credentials. For graduates of higher education institutions, the recruitment webpage provides specific educational qualifications for various job positions.

How to Obtain the POLAC Admission Form

Interested candidates can visit the admissions portal at http://polac.edu.ng/purchasepin.

Upon loading the page, generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code, and keep it safe.

Make a payment of N3,500.00 at any Nigerian bank using the RRR number received.

All applicants must also take the Joint Admission Matriculation Board Examination (JAMB) and score a minimum of 180. Higher scores increase the chances of being selected for admission to the Police Academy.

After payment, register an account at http://polac.edu.ng/user/register/application and provide the necessary information.

Application Submission

All applications for admission must be submitted online. Download the acknowledgment form from the application portal and scan the required documents.

Enter your information as required by the website.

Details and regulations regarding the NPA Entrance Exam, known as the Wudil Selection Examination, will be communicated by the examination board, which may conduct it as a pencil-and-paper test or a computer-based test (CBT).
